Summer arrived, spilling vibrant green across Chicago's parks and broad avenues.

In the 45th-floor executive office, a large-scale philanthropic initiative named the Evelyn Foundation officially launched, providing legal and financial advocacy for women victimized by domestic abuse and asset manipulation. Clara Vance was appointed executive director, channeling her remorse and genuine dedication into helping thousands of distressed women reclaim justice.

"Everything has fallen into perfect orbit," Richard remarked, placing a warm cup of chamomile tea onto my desk on a leisurely Friday afternoon. "Our European majority stakeholders just signed the ten-year contract renewal without a single restrictive clause."

I looked up from paperwork, smiling relaxed. "Thank you for always standing by my side through every long mile, Richard."

"You needn't thank me, Evelyn," Richard replied gently, pulling up a chair opposite me. "Because from the first day I watched you walk out of that penthouse with unyielding resolve, I knew my life would only be complete walking beside a true queen."

I laughed softly, reaching across the desk to clasp his warm hand. The storm had passed, leaving behind a vast, peaceful horizon.
