Coach Hall resigned before final employment hearing.
He later faced charges related to financial record falsification; other allegations handled administratively.
He released apology:
“I allowed competitive success to become excuse for practices I should have stopped.”
That was more accurate than “I made mistakes.”
He did not ask students to forgive.
Good.
Ridgeway appointed interim athletic director from outside district.
Football still existed.
Some students expected program shut down.
It wasn't.
