Principal Porter took administrative leave.
She issued statement.
“I believed I was protecting school community from unnecessary scandal.”
That sentence became scandal.
Protection from truth is not protection.
She later admitted Russell repeatedly warned negative publicity could cost stadium donation.
No direct bribe.
No envelope.
Just pressure.
“If football reputation drops, donors walk.”
She listened.
Complaints disappeared into meetings.
No written discipline.
Trent learned consequences were temporary.
That might explain entitlement.
Not excuse it.
Adults taught him what he could get away with.
