Nora recognized them.
“They look like an account reference.”
Emma stared.
“I didn’t write that.”
Investigators traced the numbers.
They corresponded to an offshore account receiving distributions from Emma’s trust.
The account beneficiary was not Richard.
It belonged to a company controlled by someone else.
