Chapter 16 - EMILY’S FAMILY
Emily had one surviving nephew, Noah Shaw, thirty-two.
He had been fourteen when she disappeared.
He came hospital cautiously.
“I don't know what to say.”
Emily cried.
Neither did he.
His mother Anna spent years believing sister fled after stealing.
The shame harmed family.
Emily asked:
“Did she hate me?”

Anna kept birthday card for Emily every year first five years.
Then stopped.
