Chapter 21 - Victor Pleads Guilty

Victor pleaded guilty in Red Mesa case.
His attorneys could have fought.
He refused.
At sentencing, he said:
“I treated suspicion as evidence and grief as permission.”
Marcus attended only because he chose.
Victor received imprisonment and supervision appropriate to offense, plus no-contact conditions and financial penalties.
His wealth did not erase.
Sophia sat behind Marcus, not beside Victor.
Judge emphasized planning and abuse of power.
Victor accepted.
When taken away, he looked at Marcus.
No gesture.
No plea.
