Chapter 27 - Bryce Without His Name

Bryce transferred to a smaller university.
No football scholarship.
He enrolled part-time first.
Worked in his uncle’s former world? No.
He deliberately stayed away from family businesses.
His mother insisted he get a job.
He worked at a warehouse.
Nobody cared who his father was.
The first month, a supervisor wrote him up for arriving late.
Bryce nearly said:
“Do you know who—”
He stopped.
That phrase died there.
Later, he wrote Leo another letter.
Leo never opened it.
